From the Path: Today’s Reflections
Dinner was louder than I expected tonight. I ended up sitting with several other travelers, and within minutes there seemed to be five conversations happening at once. Someone was telling me about a place I should visit. The woman beside me was asking where I had been yesterday. Someone across the table was talking about transportation. Another conversation started about Machu Picchu, and suddenly everyone had advice.
I kept trying to follow all of it. At one point someone asked me another question, and I realized I had absolutely no idea what they had said....
