Seeking an Artist

Quni Samiyuq began as a personal Tarot deck I created in five days, with only five weeks remaining before my trip to Peru and enough time needed to have the deck printed and shipped. I researched and directed all 79 cards, developing their concepts, symbolism, characters, landscapes, and relationship to the Tarot archetypes while using generative AI to create the finished illustrations.

I would love for this first edition to become the beginning rather than the final artwork. I am looking for an illustrator who may be interested in reimagining the complete deck by hand and bringing their own artistic voice, knowledge, perspective, and cultural understanding to the project.

I am especially hoping to collaborate with an artist who has a deep personal or lived connection to Peru and the Andes, whether through culture, community, family, place, study, or experience. Someone who understands this landscape and its traditions in ways that research alone cannot provide would bring something to Quni Samiyuq that I cannot bring to it myself.

This would be paid collaborative work. I am not looking for someone simply to reproduce the existing images by hand. I would welcome an artist who can help deepen, refine, question, and reinterpret the visual world of the deck.
