Nine of Pututus

I am exhausted, and my brain apparently did not get the message. I turned the light off almost an hour ago. Since then I've remembered that I need to confirm tomorrow's transportation, wondered whether I packed everything for the morning, thought about something someone told me at dinner, worried that I misunderstood the meeting time, remembered something happening at home, and started mentally reorganizing the next three days of the trip.

None of these thoughts is particularly terrible on its own. Together they feel enormous.

I finally turned the lamp back on and wrote everything down because I couldn't keep holding all of it in my head. Seeing it on paper helped. There are things I can do tomorrow. There are things I cannot do anything about tonight.

My mind is still busy, but at least it doesn't have to remember everything by itself.
