From the Path: Today’s Reflections
I thought about going back to the tour desk this morning. I had actually rehearsed what I wanted to say while I was getting dressed. I had a better explanation now. I knew exactly where the misunderstanding had happened, and there was a part of me that really wanted them to understand why I was still upset.
Then I realized I didn't want to spend another morning of this trip arguing about yesterday. So I didn't go back. I went downstairs, ate breakfast, packed my bag, and left for the day. I was halfway across the plaza when I noticed I wasn't thinking about the argument anymore. I was thinking about where I was going.
Nothing was resolved. They still think they're right. I still think I have a point. But as they often say, "Is the juice worth the squeeze?"
